Handmade Picture Frames and Shelf

I wanted to show off the talent that my gorgeous husband possesses. He has a very long list of 'Honey Do's', and he works so hard to please me.

He built the frames from scratch to surround a 12X12 mirror. I am in the process of painting them now, so I will post an after picture soon.

And this is the awesome shelf that he built for our home. He built one for our sister-in-law and we gave it to her for her birthday. We painted her shelf antique white, and distressed the edges, then stained the edges. It turned out beautifully.

I am thinking about making more shelfs and other wood items to sell in a local craft store. My only question, how much money would you be willing to spend on these items? The shelf? The mirrors? I am also going to make magnet boards with the same large frame around it to sell. What would you pay for a 24X24 magnet board and accompanying magnets?

Love the mirror, love the shelf. I'm not sure what I would pay for the mirror's $20.00 each ??? And the shelf, my mom had made a few of these very similar to this one and we have talked about how you see them in the store's for $100 dollars or more, I guess it just depends on the size and color. It's hard to know huh!! But great idea, go for it.

Hi Julie!
Very cool mirrors and shelf, I can't wait to see the mirrors finished. It's good to "see" you again and get caught up with your life.
