Wall of Weird: 20 things you didn't know about me

1. I hang all of our clothes on hangers with the front of the garment facing right. I only started doing this after I married my left-handed husband.

2. I zip up all of the zippers on our clothes that are hanging in the closet. I can't stand it when the garment isn't nice and zipped on a hanger. It looks too sloppy.

3. I fold towels the same way each time, and when my husband helps with the laundry (rare), I tell him how to fold them. When I put the towels away, I always place the fold towards me so it looks nicely stacked.

4. I have a disease that demands that I buy the nicest things. We bought a $500 vacuum, for heaven's sake.

5. I sleep in grandma pajamas. This is a new weird side of me that I just discovered. Around Christmastime my mother gave me two nightgowns that use to belong to her mother. They are ugly, but they are so soft and silky. I didn't know it before, but I like sleeping in silk. I even have some of my own fabric and might venture on making a more flattering nightgown for myself.

6. During the summer months, the only shoes I'll wear are flip-flops.

7. I eat ice cream in the same cup every time I indulge in the treat. The cup I like is also my husband's favorite cup, so we never have ice cream at the same time during the day. I eat mine at lunch time, and he'll have ice cream before or after dinner. That way, we don't have to fight over the cup.

8. I am the only girl in my family with four older brothers.

9. I love to reuse, recycle, and reclaim items.

10. I hate to shop.

11. I love to read.

12. I can braid my own hair but I can't braid other people's hair.

13. I don't wear makeup.

14. My hair color is my natural color.

15. I am attracted to hot, black men, but my husband says I can't put that on the list.

15. I am saving up to purchase a digital SLR. I'm sure it will be a very expensive model.

16. I am currently involved in the process of creating a startup magazine for Utah's outdoor enthusiasts.

17. If I could afford it I would eat organic food only.

18. If I had a personal chef, I would consider becoming a vegetarian or vegan.

19. I hate running.

20. I exclusively breastfed my daughter for the first nine months of her life. Only after nine months did I introduce her first solid food. No mush, just straight to soft finger foods.

I'm sure I've read a few posts without commenting, so I apologize for that. I love these kinds of lists. Everyone does them on myspace too and I can never think of anything quite interesting enough to put on mine, but I love other people's!

Love your list!

#20 - I tried to do that with my last baby but she decided to stop eating when she was six months old and lost weight. I had to introduce some new foods at that point and it killed me!

You keep reminding me that I'm not as obsessive as I thought I was! ;) Our clothes do have to face the right way on the hanger, but which way depends on whose closet they're going to. I planned on exclusively breastfeeding Camden for as long as I could, but he was starving by five months....I've made up for it though by breastfeeding him the longest. I LOVE my dyson!

Yay for flip-flops! As I commented in another post... I really don't like putting on shoes.:)
