Wannahockaloogie

I have this tickle in the back of my throat that I can't get rid of. I drink water thinking it will quench the tickle so it can leave me alone. But, that doesn't work. I suck on vitamin C drops to help soothe my throat, but it is only a temporary fix.

The tickle makes me want to cough. And when I start coughing, I pee my pants. Women whom have had children will relate to this; men don't judge me. You should be very, very grateful that you don't have to suffer from some of the after effects of childbirth!!!!!

Back to my post, titled Wannahockaloogie. That is what I want to do, however, I don't know how. It just isn't a talent I have tried to incorporate into my life. I wish that I could hock a loogie like my husband. He seems to be getting his out without any problem, but I don't have the skillz, yo.

Whenever I try to hock a loogie, I end up gagging myself and nearly vomiting. Not a pleasant feeling, which is why I rarely try it.

For now, and probably until I am better, that loogie is going to stay put. Unless my forceful coughing brings it up without my assistance.

If that wasn't too much information for you, then chew on this tidbit of info for a while.

Did you know.......

........that one of the longest words (twelve letters) that can be typed using only your right hand is...

niminy-piminy

I think that sounds naughty. And one of the longest word (fourteen letters) using your left hand is.....

aftercataracts

They are fun to type. Try it. Open a word processing program and try it. I found myself still resting my hands in the appropriate key locations on the keyboard, and even though my mind knew that I wasn't going to use my right hand while I was typing and all left-handed word, my right hand still wanted to play. It wanted to type, too. It was a weird sensation.

There are a lot fun word oddities like this out there. Similar to this one I did when I first started blogging.

I know about that tickle in your throat feeling. It is AWFUL. I started coughing today while I had the baby in the bjorn, and he thought it was a riot and started coughing back at me. Which made me laugh, and cough so hard I thought I was going to pass out.

Thankfully, I'm not needing to hockaloogie, it's just a frustrating tickle that nothing seems to get rid of.

Hope you're feeling better soon!
