What is your favorite shampoo?

In addition to being a flour snob, I would also consider myself a shampoo snob. My husband has to constantly urge me not to buy any more shampoo and conditioner until some of the other brands are gone. He says I am taking over his shower with my shampoo and conditioner. He uses only shampoo on his hair, and it is usually shampoo that I have purchased and decided I didn't like. In his shower, I have three types of shampoo, two types of conditioner, my shaving cream and razor, my loofah, and my scrubbing soap. He has a bottle of shampoo, his shaving cream, razor, and a bar of soap. Can you blame him for thinking I am taking over his shower?

Two of the types of shampoo and conditioner I am using right now are almost gone, which means I can buy some more. Yay!

I worked in a couple of beauty salons during my high school and college years, and I now have an affinity for salon brand shampoo and conditioner. I have tried to use brands from the health food store, but honestly, I haven't found a brand that works for my hair. If you have a hands-down winner, please suggest it.

My favorite salon brand is Biolage. I just love that line. I used a brand called Pativa in high school that I really liked the smell of, but I can't find it in the stores anymore. When I recently purchased some online from ebay, it just wasn't the same as it was 10 years ago. It didn't smell as good, or make my hair look the same. I don't know if I purchased the wrong kind under that brand, or if it just changed some.

I love the smell of the Herbal Essence line, but it usually leaves my hair oily after just one day, and I don't like to wash my hair every day. I'm an every-other-day kind of girl.

What do you love? What do you suggest I purchase?

I really enjoyed the pictures of KJ with the Llamas! They were all so cute!! About shampoo, I use the Whole Foods 365 brand. I really like that it is a more natural form of shampoo than the average brand. Of course, I am no expert on shampoo, so a female perspective would work out better for you, I'm sure.

I like Biolage too. In fact, I prefer it over anything else. If you're going to do the store brands thing, you have to mix and match. Don't go with herbal essences shampoo AND conditioner. Get herbal essences conditioner and something like Suave professionals shampoo. One says "hydrating", ones says "for oily hair", or whatever...but it doesn't matter. It takes a while to find out what combination will work, so I'd stick with what works if you already have something. Biolage is awesome. =)

I'm a Biolage kind of girl too! I don't absolutely love it, but I haven't found anything better.
