New Purchase

I can't believe I posted about our vacation, and left out a very key element. While shopping at Costco in Thorton, Colorado, we decided to purchase a new computer monitor.

Austin has been talking about getting a new computer monitor for a couple of years. Yes, he is such a smart spender that it takes years for him to commit to a big purchase. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but I do have to mention that I am very happy my husband doesn't spend money frivolously. He is very money savvy.

Anyway, we laid down some cash for a ~26" Acer computer monitor. Can I just tell you that I don't know how I survived using a 15" monitor before this purchase. I really don't know how we did it. Having a large computer monitor is awesome! Especially since we don't have a TV. We use it to watch DVDs and TV on the internet.

I can open all 16 tabs of the blogs I read at the same time, and there is room for all of them across the big LCD. I can have a window open that I am working in, and have another window for Jader open at the same time if she wants to watch some Disney cartoons or something. I couldn't do this on a 15". Usually Jader just hogged the entire monitor. So, lucky us, now! This purchase was worth waiting for, and worth every penny.
