In Review: Month Two

GW is two months old. Time is flying by so quickly! He went in for his well child check today, and he is in the 69th percentile of weight, 87th percentile of height, and 67th percentile head circumference. He is going to be tall, dark, and handsome.

It nearly broke my heart giving him his immunization shots. I hated doing it, even though I know it is the right thing to do for my children. He seems to be handling the shots okay. No fevers or reactions, so far.

His two-month skills impressed the doctor. Most impressive to me is the fact that he is rolling from his belly to his back. He did it for the first time at 5 1/2 weeks. I thought it was a fluke, but he has done it a dozen or more times since, and rolled twice in a row, in both directions. His sister was rolling from back to belly at two months, and decided to crawl at five months, so I think GW is on the same path. Time will tell, but I was hoping for a more laid back child this time around. We'll see.

Oh, and I have to post about Jader "helping" her brother roll over. She just got so excited when he did it on his own, that she wasn't patient enough to wait for him to do it again. It didn't even phase him. Thankfully.

I'm just waiting to capture his smile on camera so I can share it! It's adorable.

Big sisters are always so helpful!!! How crazy that he is so athletic already. Seriously I don't blame you for wanting him to stay still for a while. Wow 5 months is little to crawl! I prefer the 6-9 months stage...for the most part immobile and non-speaking...and pretty content!!! Gotta love it Eh???

He is such a cutie!

He really is ahead of the curve. I think my kid was five months before he was able to roll both ways. He's going to keep you busy!
