I've been thinking about that age old questions....Who Am I?
To answer, I am an extrovert; a Type A personality. I am organized, clean, and opinionated. I don't like to admit my faults, and I am usually right if ever in an argument. I don't like to argue, though, so don't test it.
I love to read, learn something new daily, and create something new often.
I am a fiercely loyal friend and will defend those I love and care about.
I am a good mother.
I try to do my part in leaving a small footprint on the earth. I line-dry clothes, grow a garden, compost food scraps, buy fresh local products (eggs, honey, fruits and veggies), make food from scratch, bottle foods, recycle paper, use tote bags at the grocery, etc. I have an interest in homesteading some day, and hope to make it a reality. I love a slower-paced way of life.
I also love technology, and that is where my interests contradict one another. I am trying to find a balance.
I don't like my natural hair color, but I'm not willing to dye my hair. I don't want to deal with the expense, the upkeep and maintenance, and I want to keep it as healthy as possible. If I dyed it, I would go blonde, and that is not the easiest on the hair.
I don't like to go to the doctor, and I don't like taking medicine.
I am not easily offended, but I'm learning that I am sensitive about certain topics/faults/issues.
I have a lot of freckles, so during the summer instead of getting a tan, I get darker -and more -freckles. This summer, the dermatologist told me I have rosacea (redness in the face). I was crushed. But, then his assistant said that nearly all Caucasians have it. I hated this as a teenager, well, let's be honest, I hate it as an adult, too. Mainly because when I exercise, I look like I'm going to faint from exertion. My face gets red, and those that don't know me will generally ask if I am okay.
If I'm journaling, writing a letter, etc, and I don't know how to spell a word, I have to look it up before I write it down. I frequent dictionary.com often.
I'm a religious person, with strong faith, a desire to do what is right, and I love the Lord.

I used to have a t-shirt that read: I'm not opinionated, I'm just always right. If I still had it, I'd give it to you :) I didn't know that you line dried your clothes. Do you by chance know how much that saves on your electricity bill per month? I'm just curious. And I'm glad I'm one of your friends. You've taught me all sorts of useful things, and I'm grateful for your friendship. Cute post!
I like your hair color a lot! It always looks nice!
