Decorating My Craft Room

Over the past couple of months, whenever I go to our local Deseret Industries, I have been picking up lots of glass containers. I wasn't sure what their final use would be, but I had some general ideas.

Well, I finally tied the look together when I was decorating each wall on the side of my window in my craft room.

Can you believe that most of the items in this picture I found at the thrift store? The containers (vases and bowls, and the comb jar that is holding colored pencils), picture frame, and the magnetic boards. The exception is the small silver containers holding all my brads, eyelets, and other embellishments. I found those at a scrapbook store that was going out of business. Still, I spent $5 to 40 tins. Much better than the $20 they were asking.

I love all the colors. They make me smile.

I can't wait until I have room for a craft room! My stuff is all in my garage. I love all your containers and how you arranged them! Cute!

Very cute! You have a nice decorating style. I must say I am a little jealous. One day I will get my own craft/sewing room. :) But I am happy for you. Really. :) All in good time.

Adorable! I love how you've organized all of your embellishments. How do you keep your kids out of them? Some day I'll have an organized craft room. Right now it is a scary mixture of dinning room/sewing room/storage room. Some day....
