In Review: Month Eleven

Picture: Grant, Thanksgiving 2009. Inarguably my best Straight Out of the Camera (SOOC) shot. The lighting was perfect.

Grant, it's crazy to think that you are eleven months old already. I know I say that with each month, but I really feel like time has flown by so quickly since you entered into our family. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE that a full year has (almost) passed since you were born?

I still remember my short labor, and even shorter delivery. And, even though you were breech, and I still want to spank you for it, I have loved every minute with you in my life.

You make me laugh on a daily basis. I love your dimpled smile, sloppy kisses, and infectious belly laugh.

You still love to climb onto and into everything. We found you in Grandma's antique Doughboy. You gave us all a laugh. You have mastered the art of climbing down stairs, and you are fine-tuning your walking skills. You are cruising along furniture, and standing unassisted for a little while, until you realize you are standing unassisted, and then you sit back down.

You like to eat solids, and you still enjoy nursing. You don't mind taking a bottle once and a while when I leave for some 'me' time. Thanks for being so easy going.

We are still waiting for your top teeth to erupt through. You only have two bottom teeth, at this age. I'm hoping they'll come soon, because I know the pain is affecting your behavior/sleep.

Little Man, you bring so much joy into my life. I love that you are a part of it! Keep growing and learning, and being the best little boy you can!

Love, Mom

What a handsome little man your Grant is becoming. He's precious! Hope you're feeling a bit better. You've been in my thoughts.
