I went to pick up my glasses off the bathroom counter, and they slipped out of my hands and fell to the floor. They hit the cold tile, and split in half. Perfectly.
It's funny that I am the one that broke them. I can't count how many repetitive requests I've made of Kalli not to play with them. Or, the pleading I've done with Grant not to grab them, lest they broke in the process. And yet, through a clumsy moment, I am the one that broke them. Serves me right.
I'm sad, though, because I really liked this pair of glasses. Now the great debate is whether or not to buy a new pair, or just pay to get Lasik.
For now, I'll wear my contacts.

I did Lasik almost 10 years ago and have never regretted it. I've never had any trouble with it either.
As for books I personally like fantasy and I just finished one called The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley that was good. I also love The Goose Girl (and the other Books of Bayern that go with it) by Shannon Hale. They are a light read. If you like mystery I like to read David Baldachi, especially Split Second, Total Control and Saving Faith. I also read The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown lately and really liked it though it stretched my brain a little more than was comfortable! Oh, and don't ask me for a book recommendation unless you want me to write my own novel in your comment section!
I vote for lasik! I would love to have that done, but I am extremely myopic, so it will be really expensive for me. I am encouraging you to go under the laser so that I can live vicariously through you. :)
Get Lasik! Dustin did it about 3 years ago and it was the best money we ever spent. It's awesome after having had glasses since he was 10 to be able to really see again. Really a miracle. He loves it!
