Ultrasound Follow-Up (28 weeks)

I had my follow-up ultrasound today. It has been a month since my last ultrasound. I have been making a conscious effort since my last appointment to make water my #1 fluid intake. Besides having milk on my cereal or with my pancakes for breakfast, the only liquid I have been drinking for the last month has been water (with one or two sodas in the mix). I just wanted to make sure I was staying hydrated so when this appointment came around, we could rule out that I have low amniotic fluid.

Thankfully, today, I received the news that my fluid is fine! Yay! It measured a 13.3 this time, instead of borderline-low at 8.8. It truly was the position the baby was lying in that made this measurement askew. Too bad I worried about it for the last four weeks. But, what else was I supposed to do?

That said, my placenta is still low-lying, but my doctor said not to worry (again) and that we will have another follow-up ultrasound at 36 weeks to determine if it has resolved itself. This time, I will try not to worry. Actually, I'm not worried at all about that. Just happy to hear that I don't have Placenta Previa.
