The doctor couldn't strip my membranes today because my cervix was too high and posterior (pointed towards my back). He could barely reach it and determined that I was only dilated to a two. So, an induction was scheduled for Friday. He wanted me to do a Non-Stress Test (NST) and an Amniotic Fluid Index (AFI) just because I am past my due date. The NST went well, but the AFI showed I have less than 8 cm of fluid left, so my doctor has moved my induction date up to Thursday (unless I go in to labor on my own between now and then).
I still don't want to be induced, but I am getting to a point where I would like to no longer be pregnant, so I am being more flexible. Still, I would love it if you'd keep me in your thoughts and/or prayers.

I'm all for induction myself. You've been pregnant long enough and deserve some relief. Or at least to move on to the next phase of things.
I had so many NST's with my twins (12 or so) and they all lasted about 3 hours. It was pure torture!
Oooh, good luck :) I've been checking daily to see if the new little one has arrived.
