day 12- how you found out about blogger and why you have one
I started my blog on 16 July 2007. That I know. How I found out about Blogger? Um...I don't remember. Probably by finding some random person's blog on the internet. I wish I could remember.
But, I do know why I keep a blog. I have a blog because I like to write. I look at it as a journal of sorts. It is an easy way to document different topics and I like how I can quickly attach photos to go with the topics.
I've started the process of turning my blog into a book at blurb.com. I look forward to having a printed book with entries from the entire year. It is a form of journaling, but also of scrapbooking. In 2007, I was making the switch from paper scrapping to digital scrapping and this was just a easy progression of change for me.
Plus, it is a fun way to keep in touch with friends and family and gives others the opportunity to get to know me in a way they might not be able to. For example, my children, and their children, hopefully will be able to read these posts and know a little bit more about who I was and what I believed in, loved, and cared deeply about. On many topics. It's a form of genealogy.
