Still Pregnant and Sick with a Cold, too!

I didn't have the baby over the weekend. Surprise, surprise! My children just like the conditions of my Uterus. Must be cozy in there because they never want to leave when they should. :) I'm just telling everyone that my children are stubborn, and they like to show me who the boss is before they enter into this earthly existence.

I'm having my feet massaged tonight, and I have my OB appointment tomorrow. I'm sure the doctor will highly recommend doing something to get things going. I'm not sure I have it in me to tell him no. I'll be brave and have my membranes swept. Besides, Austin's parents are coming for a visit tomorrow and it would be wise, logistically, to have a baby within the next two days. So....stay tuned.

Besides being overdue, our house has been hit by the sickos, again! No, not the perverted male kind, but the small microscopic kind. In just a week and a half, Kalli has experienced a wide spectrum of symptoms. Poor little girl!

A week and a half ago on Wednesday: Up all night vomiting.
Thursday/Friday: She felt fine.
Saturday/Sunday: Severe (butt-burning) Diarrhea
Monday: lingering Diarrhea
Tuesday: Fine.
Wednesday: Symptoms of pink eye.
Thursday-Saturday: runny nose, but otherwise fine.
Sunday: Ear ache

Grant has had a little bit of a runny nose, but he got hit with Pink Eye on Friday night, and had the goopey eye to accompany it. Conjunctivitis. I ended up filling a Rx for eye drops for him because I could tell they were really bothering him. Within 24 hours, he was feeling a lot better. No more gunk.

Now, on to me. I feel like I have a sinus infection, again. Pressure in my head, at the base of my neck, behind my nose, and a big ball of pain in my throat. It hurts to swallow, and when I have a coughing fit, I usually end up peeing my pants. So.Much.Fun.

One positive point of being overdue to have this baby is the fact that I think my children are finally on the mend and I would feel much better leaving them with someone else to birth their little sibling. I just hope I can get rid of my symptoms quickly because I think having a baby is hard enough.

Send some good vibes my way!

Hey girl....I know I was actually thinking...dang if I knew Julie's number then we could go visit, but then Dave got in a lengthy conversation with his mom over family dynamics over thanksgiving and once you get them going they don't stop, plus I need your number. So I have been riding my bike a lot lately and looking forward to when you get one too, you should bring it when you come visit because you would have baby sitters : ) I hope you are feeling well and all is good with the baby, can't wait to find out what you have, talk to you later, and by the way your blog rocks!! I need some lessons on how to do what you have done.

I went to my Dr. appt and he said I am measuring almost a month big! So, they are going to induce me tomorrow...which wasn't my first choice, but oh, well....here we go!
