Grayson: In Review: Month One

Can you believe that this little cutey-pa-tootey is already one month old? I sure can't. Time has gone by so quickly, already.

Let's do a little recap about his first month of life.

He has gained a little over two pounds in one month, and has grown an inch and a half. (10 lbs 5 oz, 22 1/2").

He has already had his first cold.

So far, Grayson has shown to be quite a content little fella. He is really easy going, and loves to share his grins. That's right. He has already given us a lot of smiles. He even smiles for complete strangers (well, strangers to him, anyway).

He is very strong. He likes to hold his head up at a 90 degree angle for short periods of time while he has tummy time. He has also rolled over from front to back a couple of times. Well, that's what Austin says anyway. I am yet to see it. He gets his head so high off the ground, and when he gets to leaning, he just rolls over.

His brother and sister have made the adjustment to life pretty easy for Grayson. They are constantly loving on him. Giving him kisses and rubbing his hair.

He has been sleeping well, and I'm loving him for that. He is on a consistent (so far) schedule and it makes my life a little easier so I can sneak away for a couple of minutes. And, he hasn't pooped during the nighttime hours for more than a week now. Love that!!

Our nursing relationship is healing. I am starting to enjoy it a lot more now that my sores are getting better. He is getting better with his latch, and now I can start enjoying that alone time with him while he eats.

I am loving having a newborn in the house again. He smells so sweet and is just so easy to love. I'm grateful to have another healthy and happy baby.
