Grayson: In Review: Month Three

Grayson is three months old today! He is making lots of strides in his development. The pajamas in the picture say "Silly Monkey", and that is what he is!

When we put him on his belly, he looks like he is trying to start crawling. He'll get his legs underneath him for a moment, or he'll get his arms and legs swinging and moving like he is trying to get to you. It's cute. Oh, and I can't put him on his back and expect him to stay in the same place anymore. He has learned how to stick his legs under him and push off, and ends up moving a couple of feet from where I originally put him down.

He is also starting to roll to his sides from his back. He's gotten onto his belly a couple of times, but I'm sure it was just a fluke.

He loves to make noises and spit bubbles. He does this cute little 'fart' noise with his lips. I get mad at Kalli for making the same noise, but when it comes from the baby, it sure is cute. And unassuming.

He loves to be held, but is equally content just sitting in his rocking chair looking out as we keep busy.

He's been sleeping great during the night time hours (up to 7 hour stretches), but seems to have some troubles napping during the day. His naps are extremely short right now (an hour or less). It makes it difficult to get anything done during the day. However, it is definitely worth all the effort. He is a doll and I'm so happy he is a part of my family.

Oh, he is handsome! I think you're going to have your hands full(er) in a few more months. He looks like he might be slightly mischievous. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet him before we moved. He sounds precious.
