Grayson: First Birthday!
This handsome little dude turns one, today! The time has gone by so quickly! I love having him as a part of our family. He has been a good baby, and is so much fun to be around. He is starting to show more of his personality, and is actually showing preferences for food (he used to eat anything).
He has been walking for a couple of months and cruises quite quickly, now. He 'runs', sometimes, and it makes me laugh.
He has had a healthy first year of life. Only minor little colds. Let's hope (and pray) we get through the winter without any major illnesses (in any of the children).
Grayson just loves his older brother, Grant, and follows him around and tries to play toys with him. But, Grant just ignores him, or is rude to him. I really look forward to the day when they can play together and they both enjoy it. I am certain it will happen sometime during this year. I keep telling Grant that Grayson is his little brother and he needs to love him, because they will be best friends someday. Still waiting for that day, though.
I love Grayson's laugh, and his cry. They are very unique to him. He started out with a unique sound, and has held on to it. I am used to it, but often people will point it out to me. I just think to myself that their kid is the one that sounds funny...ha ha! :)
Grayson could still improve on his sleeping habits. He is still waking a couple of times each night. It doesn't help that our bedroom is right next door to his. I don't have it in me to listen to him cry. That said, I really need to have him start sleeping through the night (for my sanity). I have been saying this for months, and it hasn't magically happened. I keep telling Austin that I will have to sleep downstairs, or at the neighbors house, for a couple of nights in a row, and that might be all it takes.
I am so excited to watch my youngest son grow up! Love you bunches, Grayson!!
