Birthday

Last week I celebrated my 33rd birthday. I had a lovely day with my husband and children, and even the kindergarten class I volunteer in.

Funny story! When I walked into the class in the morning, Kalli notified the class it was my birthday, and pretty soon a couple of little 5-6 year olds (boys, even!) were giving me a birthday spanking! Excuse me!

Austin took me out for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants (Grogg's), and baked me a cake from scratch! He spoiled me with gifts...a new HP laptop (which I am using right now in bed to compose this post) and a dock to put it on so I can use my dual monitors for work.

I was very happy to hear from my four brothers, my SIL and my mom. My family means so much to me.

I even received a postcard from my old boss in Zion. He sends me a postcard each year for my birthday, and each one is different. They are the vintage NPS postcards, and I love them.

I didn't receive any birthday wishes from friends through Facebook -like last year-(with the exception of a few through PM's and my Blogger Boutique fan page), but what do I expect, since I deleted all of my friends in December. Now, no one knows when my birthday is.

I loved the cute little cards that my children drew for me while I was out with Austin and they had a babysitter. It was so thoughtful of them to draw me pictures and cards. I love my little ones!

It was a great day!
