Jader has been sick for the last couple of days. She has a head cold. I believe she picked it up from the toys she played with in the Nursery Room on Sunday. Yep, she went to Nursery. Apparently, in this ward, you can bring children in before 18 months. Nice!Needless to say, she loved it. She played with bubbles and had a snack with the other children. She didn't even miss us. Even though she is sick, she is still running around the house.
I've been working on some projects for the house. I decorated some letters for Jader's room. Block letters were purchased from Walmart. I painted them chocolate brown, traced the letters onto scrapbook paper, cut them out, then used modge podge to adhere them. I then added another layer of modge podge on top. I embellished some letters with buttons and string, and even added some rub-on words. I like the way the project turned out.
I've also completed some vinyl lettering projects. 'Live. Laugh. Love.' wood sign is in the kitchen, and the 'BE' tile sign is in the upstairs bathroom. I like the way they both turned out. Vinyl letters are so easy to use and look so professional. I have four more vinyl crafts to complete and will post finished projects later.
And to finish this post off, here is a picture of our upstairs living room.
