Baby Sign Language

In college, I took two semesters of American Sign Language (ASL) classes. I really enjoyed learning ASL, and have taken my knowledge to a new level. I have been teaching Kalli signs since she turned 8 months old. Now, at 15 months, she knows 20 signs, and is constantly learning more.

I have really enjoyed using the Signing Time videos to help me teach Kalli signs that babies use. They are great videos. I usually check them out from the local library, or the local family resource center. But, I am excited to participate in a giveaway that My Two Boys is hosting. She is hosting a series give-away of sign language products from Signing Time. She's only in week three, so hopefully I'll have a shot at one of her freebies!

It's worth the effort. It works! Check it out!

I am such a believer in baby sign! We avioded the common pitfalls of frustration in toddlerdom with my oldest. We still sign for fun as well as trying to teach baby sister who is 5 months old :)
