I organized my pantry yesterday. I got the inspiration from this entry at www.meckmom.com. I really wish I had some before pictures, but I don't, so here are my after pictures.The pantry shelves in my house are the weirdest dimensions. All of my original decisions wouldn't work with the dimensions. Then I stumbled across the great organizing website of Maria's. (*I like a couple more of her ideas and will be implementing them in my home soon. I want to create the art board that she did for her children, and I think it is such a good idea to do the picture labels like she did for her children's toys.)
I enjoy being organized and I believe this system will work for me. I've already used -and loved- the baking supplies bin that sits in the cupboard next to my stove. I pretty much had all the ingredients organized for baking on that shelf, I just put them all into the bin, and it makes it so much easier. Instead of bringing out each item one by one, I pull the bin out once, use the ingredients, then put the bin back in the cupboard. And, if there are any spills, it will be contained to the bin and not all over the cupboard shelf. Works for me!

And I thought I was organized! Scott would go nuts if I tried something like that, I think lol I really like it though! I really need to figure something out like this with my pantry. Maybe I'll do that today? Thanks for the inspiration!
