Bike Ride Treasures

The last couple of days, Kalli and I have been going on bike rides together. I pull her in a trailer behind my bike. We've ridden 20 miles since yesterday. I usually take her walking, but I have been getting bored of that, and my knees have been bothering me since the weather turned cold.

So, instead, we bike. We've been riding on the back roads near our house, and towards the local airport. My favorite part of walking and riding bike (besides the exercise) is finding road side treasures.

Yesterday, we found a pair of old, black tap shoes, a pair of sunglasses, and a small, plastic gas container. Today, however, I found a very fun treasure.

A small, yellow, piggy bank Pig. He was abandoned on the side of the road. Discarded and left for dead.

We rescued him.

Kalli can't get enough of him. She carries him around, hugs him, kisses him, and talks to him.
