It's been a while since I have shared an organization post, so I thought I would show you my hall closet. This closet houses my Bathroom Bucket (a grab and go bucket to clean all of the bathrooms with. This way, I don't have any chemicals under the sink for my curious child to play with), medicine, soap, shampoo, lotion, baby products (I wanted to make my tag say Baby Supplies, but then it would have had a big 'B' and 'S', and frankly, I don't think anything to do with babies is 'BS'.), first aid items, household items, sheets*, toilet paper* and paper towels*.
*Top and bottom shelves not shown.
I got the cute organizing bins from Walmart*. They are exactly like the bins in my craft room closet. They are inexpensive and come in four (maybe five) different sizes. They work great! I think Target sells them, also.
The round tags are also from Walmart*. They are about an inch in diameter with a sticky back. They have a hole so you can thread your favorite ribbon through them. I used alphabet rub-ons to identify the contents in the bins. This way, my darling husband can find the things he needs and help me to keep it organized.
*I don't like Walmart. I wouldn't shop there, but it is the only decent store in my small town and you can't beat the prices.
Organization makes me feel good. While I was at my parent's house over the holiday, I couldn't resist helping my mom to be better organized. I cleaned out her hall closet and threw away medicines and ointments from 1992! Yuck! I'll always remember how thankful she was that I helped her with that project. She opened the closet for the first time, saw the organization, and cried. Granted, she was quite emotional from all that had happened. Otherwise, I don't think she would have cried at the site of a closet. I'm just glad I could help. Besides, keeping busy helps me keep my mind off other things.
Here is a great site to help you organize your home.
Have fun!

I see things like this that you do and wonder what Scott would do if I tried it...
