Fun in the Snow!

We woke up to six more inches of snow this morning. It was beautiful! One of my favorite things of living in an area that experiences winter is to wake up and see new snowfall. I love it when there are no tracks on the roadways, no footprints on the sidewalks, and no disturbance in the snow. It is so calm and tranquil. What a great way to begin my day.

Of course, that serenity doesn't last long. Before we knew it, men were out on their ATVs with their snowplows attached to the front of their machines. I wasn't aware of this type of snow removal until I moved to Price. What I am beginning to realize is that it is a very popular way for the local men to remove snow from their driveways and walkways.

In this picture, you'll see two of my neighbors out on their machines clearing off the snow.


















Before too long, our neighbor was in our driveway clearing of the snow for us. We didn't even have to ask, and this is the second time he has done it for us. Very Christlike.


















Of course, we had to have our fun in the snow.


















After playing in our front yard, we went to our neighbors backyard to go sledding. In this video, you will witness Jader on a sled by herself for the first time. She held on so well, and really enjoyed sledding. When you watch the video, you will notice that after I ask her if she liked it, she signs the word 'Again'. So, she answered my question. She wanted to go again, and again. (Sorry about my sniffling nose. It was quite cold!)



After an hour we returned home to get warm and to take naps. Well, Jader did anyway. Later on in the afternoon, when we watched the video together, she heard me ask on the video, 'Did you like that Kalli? and she would answer 'Yes!'. It was an enjoyable day.
