Remember the gift certificate that my handsome husband gave me for Love Day? I spent it yesterday, and bought our home a nice clock and a cute, black star.
I hung the clock above our fireplace. I thought it looked nice in the space. It wasn't the intended location for the clock, but it looked better there than where I wanted it to go. It's actually a smaller clock than the one I wanted to buy, but it was also $70 cheaper. So...I went with it.
The star is temporarily hanging from the hooks next to my front door. I haven't decided where I want to hang it. Interior decorating is very challenging for me, so if any of you have ideas (those of you that have been in my home, i.e., Melanie), feel free to share them with me.
I am debating about hanging it downstairs on the wall near my computer, above my front door either on the interior of the home, or maybe the exterior, or above a mirror in my living room.
I love having a home to decorate. It is a lot of fun. I lack patience to get it all decorated and organized how I would like it, but I just add things a little at a time. I guess that is usually how it's done. I used to complain to my mom all the time that I don't have nice furniture like her and she would always tell me that with time I would nice things, too. It is fun to finally see it come to fruition.

Have you seen my star like that? I put it on my front door in the summer. I think your star would look nice above your door...outside or inside. I really love your clock too!
