My Wardrobe Malfunction

You remember the other day when I mentioned that my life was boring? Well, today I have decided that my wardrobe is boring as well. I was putting my shirts away today (arranging by gym shirts**, short-sleeved, long sleeved, nice dress shirts), and I realized something for the first time. With the exception of two shirts that have stripes, every other shirt I own is a solid print. Does this say something about my personality?

I consider myself a very outgoing, friend, and fun-loving person. But, I just have a very conservative style. When I worked for the park service (before I was married), one of my roommates used to tease me that I didn't have any color in my wardrobe. She was right. I only wore neutral colors; gray, white, black, brown, cream, some green, etc...

Now, even though I own only solid print clothes, I have branched out and I own pink, green, orange, purple, red, blue, etc.. I have yet to purchase any yellow clothes, but that is only because I don't think it is a flattering color on me.

I've decided that the next time I purchase clothes, I will be a little daring and purchase a shirt with a patterned print.

Tell me, in the meantime, though, what is your favorite brand of shirt and does it come in pretty patterned prints?

**I have met a man whose name is James Shorts. He goes by Jim Shorts. Funny, eh?

That's funny because I'm almost completely opposite. I used to wear shirts that had all kinds of stuff on them, designs, patterns, words, pictures, and now I'm going towards stripes and solid prints.
My favourite brand is billabong because they're so comfortable, but I'm not sure what they're made out of. I like wearing cotton and the shirts I've been buying lately are from wal mart - they're no boundaries and they're 100% cotton and they only cost $5 each! I can't beat that...I just can't...but they are plain and striped, so...that's not what you asked for! See me rambling! Sorry!

I've heard about Jim, but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting him. When I'm not wearing maternity clothes I live almost exclusively in T-shirts, because I'm not a fan of ironing. I did get brave last year and buy a yellow polo which I love (Old Navy)but I've been thinking that I need to get more creative too. Let me know if inspiration strikes and you find something really great!
