Shelves...Finally!

Yesterday I finished a couple of shelves that Austin and I have been working on for a few weeks. We made two and I hung one on each side of my window in my living room.

I really love the way my room feels finished now. Well, with the exception of one wall, which is bare. Some day I hope to have a wrought iron clock like this to hang on this wall. I'd take the clock that is hanging over the mantle and put it in my bedroom.

The clock is one of the many things on my wish list for my house, but for now, I am so happy with my shelves. I have been waiting patiently for Austin to build me my shelves for almost a year now. He built a shelf for my SIL Kristin for Christmas last year, and another shelf for my friend Melanie for her birthday, and finally it is my turn to have one of these beauties in my house.
