Another 'First'

We had another 'first' in our house Monday. This 'first' involved a two-and-a-half year old girl sticking a pomegranate seed up her nose.

She was sitting on the bar stool at the counter while I was busy doing dishes, and said 'Look at me!'. I turned my head just in time to see her pull her hand away from her nose. I asked her if she put the seed up her nose, and she lied and said 'no'. Then she started to get scared and started crying that it hurt.

I looked up her nose and couldn't see anything, so I took her into the bathroom so I could see a little better up her nostril. Thankfully, she has had a little bit of a runny nose, and the seed started to make its way out by itself. When I could see it, I gently pushed on her nostril to help guide it out.

The whole situation scared me to death. I'm sure it won't be the one and only time it happens, though. Bummer.

Our household has been super sick this week. Well, I have been the sickest, followed closely by Austin. Thankfully Jader hasn't caught what we have. I've been trying to send her away to play with friends in the morning because we are just too boring for her to be around when we are sick.

Anyway, I'm keeping this short..so until next time..

I hope you are all feeling better soon. I sent you an e-mail about a Christmas party when the Green's are in town. I know you will be super pregnant, but wanted you to come if you felt up to it. Let me know if you didn't get it and I'll re-send.

Oh that is not fun...lately Whitley has had a little runny nose...the annoying kind that wont stop. Well she has been taking little pieces of TP and putting them up her nose (where would she get that Idea)...the other night one got stuck up too far and I had to try and pull it out...it was a little nerve racking for both of us! I am sad you are sick...hope you all are feeling better really soon!

My brother stuck a plastic bead up my little sister's nose. My mom had to take her to the ER to get it sucked out, so I'm glad you were able to get it out. Sorry about the sick, I'm assuming you're feeling better by now!
