Jader has seen me bathing her little brother in the sink, so I guess she decided that is where her bath should be. Silly girl.
She also thinks she should be wearing her brother's clothes.
Are you loving her crazy hair as much as I am?
I'm starting to wonder if Jader thinks she is a boy. Lately, she has been enjoying going potty outside. In fact, one day she wanted to go from the inside of the house, to the outside just to pee. I'm certain she learned this from her boy cousins that were here the weekend of GW's baby blessing.
She also likes to hang out in her underwear all day. I'll dress her three different times on any given day, but come five o'clock, she is only in her undies. I think this stems from the fact that she accidently peed on her dress when she was sitting on the toilet. Now, she just likes to take all of her clothes off when she uses the bathroom. Thankfully this only happens at our home. I can keep her clothes on her when we are out and about and she has a potty break. At any rate, it cracks me up.
Another thing that cracks me up, is thinking about all the funny things she says. The other day, it was snowing (yep, in April), and she looked out the window and said, "Holy Crap! It's snowing!". Then, she follows it with "Oh my goodness! It's snowing!". The funny thing about these sayings is that 'Holy Crap' comes from Austin, and I'm the one that always says 'Oh my goodness!'. So, she has definitely started the mimicking stage.
We took Jader to an Easter Egg Hunt last Saturday, but we were a couple of minutes late, so she missed out on searching for eggs. Her friends were nice and shared a couple of treats with her. Thankfully she was able to get her picture taken with Hippity Hoppity and RJ the Clown. She loved that.
Austin probably won't like me sharing the reason we were late, but it makes me laugh, so I have to blog about it. We got the kids loaded into the car with about ten minutes to spare before the hunt started. Austin opened the garage door, and it moved up about two feet, then stopped. It would budge after that. It wouldn't go up, and it wouldn't go down. It was then that he remembered that he parked too close to the door with his car the night before, and forgot that he wanted to move it in the morning before opening the door. Well, lo and behold, the garage door wouldn't move because it was stuck on his front license plate (we back our cars into the garage so we can see better when pulling out-it's a law enforcement thing). The lip of the door grabbed the license plate and bent it up, then got stuck. I had to push the door with my leg to unjam it, and then the door continued up.
I tried to talk Austin into not moving the car, and leaving the garage door open while we were gone so we wouldn't be late, but he had to move his car and shut the door again. The little incident made us late for the egg hunt, but it was fine. It makes me laugh now. Even knowing that it made Austin share a few choice words when the door was stuck. Hopefully Jader won't pick up on those.
Jader has been such a good big sister. I don't know why I was ever worried. She is so sweet to GW. Always whispering sweet nothings into his ear.
And giving him head massages.
Really though, I don't think GW seems to mind. He is such a happy baby. My friend told me he was handsome, and I totally agree. He melts my heart. They both do. Ahhh...I love being a mom.

What a great post! Jader cracks me up too. And as for being late, you learned a lesson in patience, Austin in parking, and Jader saw how good friends help each other out, and you got a good laugh so it was a good thing! And I love the head massage picture. Your family is adorable.
