Since I was raised sister-less, I was very much a tom-boy, and have found with adulthood that the learning curve for girly things has been pretty steep.
Case in point:
It wasn't until recently that I started having my eye brows waxed. I just didn't know. I used to pluck, but I'm so glad I wax now.
And, speaking of hair, I have always been confused about the hair down south. Shave? Wax? Bikini? Full? So many options and no one to talk about it with. Sorry, TMI.
One thing that I have learned to love recently (and I apologize if this is old news to you) is a little foot tool that I use in the shower. I have always used a pumice stone on my calluses, but it was usually after I got out of the shower, and most of the time I would forget to use it when my skin was still soft.
I picked up a cheap 4-in-1 pedicure paddle from Walmart (see pic-the only complaint about this is that the side with the fine grit fell off soon after purchase). It has a little rope that I use to hang it up with, and at the end of my shower, I always use this tool on my feet. One side has a metal file surface which does wonders on my feet since I am always in flip flops. I would wear flip flops year round if the weather permitted it. But, snow and flip-flops generally don't mesh well.
I have never had such soft feet since I've started using this. No cracking and no calluses. I hear Dr. Scholl's has an exfoliating file that is guaranteed to work or your money back. I'm still looking for it to buy it. Has anyone else tried it?
Anyway, if you don't have soft feet, but have always wanted them, give this method a try.

leave it up to me to comment on the uncomfortable for some...Um I prefer to wax but finding someone down here to do it is really hard. I used to wax all the time and then I lazered with hopes to never have to worry about it again and It is less but not gone. So with that said, most of the time shaving is the best option unless you try waxing yourself which has not been too successful for me! Good? Good!
