Roses for the Noses

I have been enjoying fresh cut flowers in my house lately. I love the color they bring into a room. I walk in a room, see the flowers, and smile. And, they smell heavenly!

I found these cute little glass containers at my local thrifting store. I'm not sure what their original purpose was for, but I'll be re-purposing them as vases for flowers, embellishment holders for crafting (for buttons, brads, eyelets, etc), and maybe even for my daughters play kitchen.

This fun vase I picked up from our local college. Students on campus take a pottery class, and at the end of the semester they can sell their goods. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I've had it in my basement bathroom, and when I don't have fresh flowers, I have some silk ones that I rotate through to keep the color in the room throughout the year.

I know this isn't really blogable material, but the flowers have been bringing me some joy lately, so I thought I'd share.
