My little guy is six months old! He's not crawling in the traditional sense (hands and knees) yet, but I definitely consider him to be mobile.
I can set him down in the middle of the room, and he will army crawl/seal flop to where he wants to be.
At this age, my daughter was crawling, but they are the opposite in their locomotion. From all fours, Jade would crawl forward on her hands, then hop with her legs to catch up. GW keeps his arms in one spot, but propels himself forward with his legs and lands on his belly (seal flop), then he'll pull himself a little more forward with his arms (army crawl).
Six months old, and no teeth yet. Fine with me.
Height: 27 inches (68%)
Weight: 17 pounds (41%)
GW loves food. He likes to eat, and he likes to watch us eat. He will practice chewing, even if he doesn't have anything in his mouth. His sister wasn't interested in food until closer to 9 months, so this awareness is totally new to me.
GW has sampled (in his mesh food bag) cantaloupe, banana, apple, and strawberries. He has also eaten small pieces of potato, bread, and pasta. By far, the cantaloupe is his favorite. If he doesn't have it in his mouth at all times, he will start screaming. I'm usually not fast enough to replace what he has eaten in his baggie before I hear him start complaining.
I still haven't found the trick to get him to sleep through the night, but I'll be patient. He is a darling little guy who most people say is either sleeping or smiling.
Happy half-year Birthday, little guy!

Happy 6 month birthday! What a cutie-pie!!
What a good idea! I kept a calander, but I think the blog posts are much more personal. And I love those mesh bags! They let me try more things with out worrying that my baby would choke on something. My only compliant about them is that it is nearly impossible to clean out banana goo.
Wow, I can't believe this...He is so big and so cute...This is my favorite age and stage!
