In Review: Month Seven

GW is seven months old! He has changed and developed so much in the last month, it's amazing.

He has started crawling on his hands and knees, and he is fast! He easily transitions from crawling to sitting, and vice versa. My kids are funny, because they learn to crawl before they learn to sit up unassisted. Not sure what that means, but both of them have done it.

For the past couple of weeks, he has been pulling himself to stand on anything and everything. This picture is when we found him standing in his crib. He likes to chew on the top rung; I'm sure it makes his gums feel better.

He still doesn't have any teeth, but I feel like he's been "teething" for the last month or three. Usually, I'll give him some Hylands Teething Tablets, and it will make him less fussy, and allows him to sleep for longer than a half hour period.

He isn't sleeping through the night, still. But, like I said last month, I'll be patient. He starts out in his own bed, and usually ends up in mine. I enjoy sleeping next to him, though, so I can't complain. I often wake up to find him with his face plastered in my arm pit, or his bum in my face. Even with the smell of pee in my face, I like sleeping next to him.

He loves to giggle, and squeal with his sister. He mimics a lot of her mannerisms, and is often looking for her in a room. She picks on him a lot, but we always warn her that some day he will be bigger, faster, stronger, and meaner than she is. I'm sure the concept is lost, for now.
