I recently rearranged some decorations in my house, and I'm happy with the changes. I added some red berries, a couple of new frames, and a mirror that I found at the thrift store.
Every time I walk into the room, I smile. It is just what I've needed lately.
Oh, and did you notice that old door in the background? Love it! I feel like I hit the jackpot a couple of weeks ago when I found a 100 year old house that is being renovated. I scored some vintage finds on the property (I'll show them soon), including three doors. I'll be getting three more doors in the future, and I'm really excited about getting the front door of this house. It's gorgeous!
My mantel has changed a lot over the last couple of years.
I'm still trying to find the right look, but I don't think it will ever look finished until I give the fire place a makeover. I want to cover the brick with wood, put a nice shelf on the top, and then decorate. I want it to look something like this:

LOVE the old door! When I get a bigger house I want one of those. The star is perfect on it. Oh, and Chad's sister did a fab job painting her old brick fireplace, you could look into that.
