My Job

I have been pretty busy with blog designs this year. Probably not as busy as I could be, but that is by choice.

I raised my prices just enough that I only get the amount of clients that I want to take on. I have found that as Grayson is getting older (he is 18 months old this month!), that I just don't have the time to work like I used to. I am lucky to get in 2 hours each day. So, I schedule one to three clients a month, and that is all.

The major bummer is when one of those clients is a major beast! I hate it when I have very difficult clients, because it makes it harder to work for them. I usually have a lot more stress about it than is necessary, and it trickles down to my family and other relationships, too.

I also have a hard time recovering from difficult clients. They just seem to suck all the extra energy out of me. I wish I had a question on my order questionnaire that would give me the best indication of what type of client they will be so I can decide if I want to take them on or not. Ha!

I have two clients this month to wrap up, then I don't have any scheduled beyond June. Maybe I will get a break. I could sure use it!
