On a lighter note

It snowed again last night and this morning. We received another 3 inches, or so. Yeah!! You know, for this being our first winter since we moved here from southern Utah, I am really getting in to this whole snow business. My daughter really loves it, too. She keeps going to the window and saying 'No, No'. Which is her version of 'Snow, Snow'.

It takes a very talented mother to decipher the language of an 18 month old. You see, when she says 'no' I have to take it in context, because right now, 'no' is 'No', 'Nose' and 'Snow'. Tricky, eh?

Besides talking, Jader is into dressing and undressing herself. She puts her socks on, then her shoes on. Then she takes her shoes off, and her socks off. She'll unsnap her sweaters and take them off. She loves putting hats on and off of her head. This morning she put her coat on by herself and this is what we ended up with.
She's also having a lot of fun looking at all the holiday decorations I'm putting up. Take a peak.

Here are some of the Santas that my mom and I have painted together over the years. Each year, we choose another Santa and we work on them together. She makes one for each of us kids. She is a very talented woman.

I finished the 'Wise Men Still Seek Him' sign yesterday. Austin finally got to use one of his birthday gifts; the router bits for his router. This is the first sign that I've routed (is that even a word?), and I think it looks great.

If I remember, tonight we will pick another advent activity. So, watch for the upcoming post.

I love those Santa Clauses! I've been over to help a few times, but not nearly as much as I'd like. Now that Scott works in Vernal and we only have one vehicle it's not so easy. Those pictures of Kalli trying to put her coat on are so cute. Logan only knows how to take things off and does it at the worst times. She is such a smart little girl! I don't wonder where she gets it from.
