31 Weeks Pregnant: 9 Weeks Left

I'm so excited that I am finally in the single digits for the countdown of this pregnancy. It seems like it has gone by fast, but not fast enough.

I need to start thinking about getting some things ready for when the baby makes his/her appearance. First on the agenda is finding a place for the little one to sleep. Grant is still in the crib, and is not making any attempts to climb out of it (which is the reason we transitioned Kalli out of it around his age). So, we'll keep him there until he seems ready to sleep in a twin.

I had a bassinet at one point, but have either donated it or loaned it out. I know it is no longer in my possession. I will figure something out.

I also need to get a couple of outfits washed and ready.

For the majority of this pregnancy, I have been convinced that we are having a boy. I think it is because of the cravings I've had with this one...they are similar to the cravings I had when I was pregnant with Grant, and I just have a general feeling that another boy will be coming in to our family.

A seed of doubt has crept in, and for the last two weeks, I've been leaning towards a girl. Maybe it is because of the low-lying placenta, which is what I had with Kalli. Either way, it truly will be a genuine surprise.

Exciting and scary at the same time!
