This weekend we went to St. George, Utah, where we spent some quality time with my family for a Sims Family Reunion.
Overall, the weekend was great. Kalli and Grant had a blast playing with their cousins.
We went swimming, to a Saturday market in Tuachan, had good food, and played lots of games (including the Wii). It was the first time Kalli had played the Wii, and only the third time for Austin and I. I was surprised at how well she did playing tennis and bowling.
There was one very scary, near tragic, accident involving my mom. But, I am happy to report that serious injury was avoided and she is doing fine and will heal from her minor injuries quickly.
I am thankful for the loving family that I have and for the great memories that we created. I look forward to next year.
Oh, and I can't forget to mention that after a trip to Costco on Monday, we went to Subway for lunch before getting on the road. At Subway, I ran into a friend from high school that I haven't seen since we graduated 13 years ago. I found out that she has been living in St. George for the last five years, which means that for two years we lived in the same area and shopped at the same stores but never ran in to each other. She told me they had just come from shopping at Costco and wanted a sandwich for lunch. Crazy--that we would do the same thing on the same day. It was great catching up with her.
Note: I'm embarrassed to even mention this, but I didn't even take a single picture while we were together. Totally lame!

It was sooo good to see you yesterday! It's great how sometimes it really is a small world. I love how even though it has been 13 years since we have seen each other we can just pick up where we left off! Do you remember when I made that huge mess of spaghetti sauce at your house? haha
Your kids are so stinkin' cute and I think it is so cool that you married your high school sweet heart.
If you tend to go late and I tend to go early we will probably have our babies around the same time! By the way, I really like the names Grayson and Kenzi...
